BJD doll Doll clothes Hobbies Sewing

Thana

A mori girl look with more
soft colors. Two layers of
dresses and a jacket.

Meet Thana, cheap but quite loved 1/3 bjd doll that will eventually get a larger wardrobe than she will know what to do with.

I got her after summer last year, and have been making clothes to her ever since. I have a real bjd male doll from before, that I had a harder time getting patterns for and eventually hid him away after I moved. I have them both out again now though, and also am fixing the two lovebirds some wedding clothes (I am not insane, just lonely and eccentric.)

I have been getting hair and shoes from ebay the last part of the last year because Norway will soon have strickter import taxes, and the price would be possibly trippled for anything you get. Thankfully my fabric providers sends from Norway, or I would be a poor, pooooor person.

Winter fashion. A shirt that is
short in the front and then
lower in the back. Sweater is
knitted with love and
frustration by my mom.

A part of what I want to do on this blog, is also to share my projects in making her new clothes. Because I am trying to make from scratch now, design and make them, and if they catch on, maybe I can share them with others. I am currently working on a project where I have the design made, and have gotten the fabric now. All I need is to put the pieces together and hope it will all fit in the end.

If anyone knows about some good stores or patterns I am always open to advice!
