New BJD dolls 2023
I ordered these about this time last year. Tired from a summer full of working and a big paycheck, I ordered my first real expensive dolls. To make myself feel like it was acceptable, I decided to sort of shell them into my own original characters when they arrived. Gabriel and Mina Moore. Best couple.
She is a Xaga Doll – butterfly girl.
He is a RingDoll – Wo Long Military Version.
I might have ordered without thinking much over stuff, and by the time they arrived over 6 months ago, I were a wreck thinking about the obvious issue: Would a size 70 cm and a 59 cm really look good beside each other? Would they even look like they belonged in the same world together with that size difference? I also heard from some people that the face-up in the Ringdoll dolls might actually not be close to what is in the pictures, and my nerves grew even worse! Also the fact I could not find one picture of the Butterfly girl anywhere besides the same pictures on sale sides. Did anyone even own her?!? Was she even real?!??!
Then they arrived, and I spent over an hour getting them both unwrapped. I have respect for Legenddoll.net and their wrapping and safety dedication.
Mina Moore is precious and pure and the second I had this doll unpacked I was ready to die for her. She is adorable and I do not regret getting her! I changed the eyes first, into some red ones I ordered with. Then I begun the most grueling task. Un-wrapping her husband and hoping he would not be too big in scale to her.
Firstly: his faceup was not as good as on the page, but it was so good I didn’t care. He looks perfect and I love him too. But secondly: His body is so buff I got a little shocked. Sort of a little too big for the character he is supposed to be, but at least I knew the measurements when I ordered his suit so it is tailored to fit him. He will still look smashing. Also his head is so small. The eyes I ordered for him won’t fit, but the yellow eyes that comes with the doll looks awesome on him, so it is okay for now. I had to put them in though, and it is the smallest doll head I have had to change eyes in.
And there they are! And while she might look a little too small beside him, that is nothing that some high heels won’t fix right up! Time to get them dressed!
Perfect. The clothes he has is ordered from a store on Etsy, and I got it around 2 months before I got him, so I am so happy it fit. Would not work to complain about the size two months too late. Her clothes I made myself. And it was quite adorable. The hair on her I got from legenddol with the rest of the order, and the one he has was from ebay. While both are okay, I were not pleased with them, so I eventually ordered new ones, and I love them both now.
