The gouache life for me

Last year I started painting with gouache. And by now it has become an obsession.

Each time I pull out the paint and start a new project, I can’t help but wonder: Where have you been all my life?

I always loved Acrylics on canvas, and was always sort of annoyed I needed the space to put the easle up and paint on it. However, with gouache I get most of the same feeling, just right on paper instead. Also slightly smoother. I can also use aquarelle to add some nice backgrounds on my pictures.

So here, a bunch of random gouache pictures I made since I started this more expensive paint hobby.
