The Lady of the Abyss

The screams stilling now. The only sound left inside the darkness being the loud thuds as heels hit the floor. Coming closer and closer.

Then they stop.

Knowing he could not put it off anymore, the shaking man turns towards the room again. Some sort of nefarious light emitting from the creature before him.

Dread. Such dread he just wanted to tear his eyes out to not feel it before him anymore. But inside all that dread and insanity. Was awe at her beauty.

But he still screamed. Tears pouring as he was trying to find the strength in his hands to just tear his eyes out. Feeling like the pressure from seeing her was burning the inside of his head.

A black crown atop her head. Adorning her pale white hair.

A black halo around it, alive as its tentacles embraces and caresses the air around her.

No emotion to be seen on her face, and her eyes covered by a blindfold. A black dress so long she dragged it on the ground around her. Creatures moving from under her, a gate to the Abyss opening where her or her dress touched.

The Lady of the Abyss

And thus, this jolly Halloween season, my Gabriel has been turned into not a demon Queen as last year, but a goddess. As fits her the most. The crown i bought online, and painted more black after I added some tentacles with clay. Then I had some layers of skirts from before I could use again, and the thing that I spent most of the time on: the corset and the tentacles.

The corset was made from a smart doll corset pattern from Etsy, and the tentacles I used the pattern for a giant octopus also bought on Etsy.

The Cthulhu ring around her neck I got from a friend as a gift, and the Cthulhu idol card holder I got from a friend that had backed a kickstarter. I just basically went around and added all the things I could find that fit really.

It will be nice to soon have some space in my room again, but I am already wondering just what I will have to do next year to be better than this year.
